At Round, we are creating a new medium to engage with the city’s creative scene and build thriving community ties. Its an ongoing conversation about art, local culture and lifestyle, a curated community of the coolest niche events and publishers, venues and performers.
You decide when youre interested in learning more about an event item. Behind each one you’ll find a blend of human and algorithmically curated stories, videos, reactions and additional content to ensure you always have something to dive into.
We believe that events boost the production of new meanings, helping you to become better and create connections through shared experiences.
The app is really simple to use. Here are some features:
• Search whatever you want and the results will be shown on the map. Search could be done either nearby or at a location of your choice.
• You can follow your favorite publishers across our platform and get notifications when publishers post new happenings.
• You decide which alerts to receive, and we wont buzz your phone unless its really, really important. We will give you customized recommendations based on your preferences, your previous searches and the publishers you follow.
• Share your reactions – good/bad/happy/boring/sad – instead of binary likes, or stars, we have created “reactions” where you can take a pic of an item or a moment behind your reaction and share your thoughts. Let your voice be heard.
